Documentation
SnapSite takes a picture of a public web page and deletes the file once it has been delivered. This guide covers the form, the limits, and the errors.
Guides
- Choose wait, delay, and format — How SnapSite waits for a public page, and when to use PNG or JPEG.
- Read a capture error — How to tell a blocked address, a site failure, and a SnapSite limit apart.
Capture a page
- Paste a full URL, including https://.
- Choose desktop, tablet, mobile, or full page.
- Choose PNG, or JPEG with a quality from 40 to 90.
- Open advanced options if you need a custom size, a short delay, or a batch.
- Press Take Screenshot and wait for the steps to finish.
- Download the file before you leave the page. The server copy is deleted once your browser has it.

What the image does not show
It does not show content behind a login, on a private network, or past the full-page cap. It does not prove response headers, accessibility, or that every visitor saw the same pixels. Video and audio elements are not loaded. The clock on the page is UTC.
